The restaurant ‘Mercado’ on The Landing is set to welcome guests early next, but the owners say their goal is Monday.
You might know the food truck Mercadito that pops up around town at events or a spot on The Landing.
Now, from the truck to a storefront, Mercado will welcome guests for some soft openings this weekend and their grand opening sometime next week.
The new restaurant, dubbed “Mercado”, will feature a bar and some food items from their food truck.

Mercadito Taqueria announced the news on its Facebook page about a year ago.
The owner plans to serve lunch and a late-night menu, as well as brunch.
The space is expected to house 80 seats inside and 20 for outside dining.
