What does success look like?

Every person has a different definition, but you can’t discount the role emotional intelligence plays in helping them advance in all areas of their life.

Andie Hines-Lagemann’s business, Tidewater Coaching, is rooted in that truth. Through Tidewater Coaching, she provides group and one-on-one coaching, presentations, and administers EQ assessments. The idea is that EQ coaching provides measurable strategies for growth and lasting change.

Whether it’s on the individual or corporate level, Andie is getting noticed. At the time of the application, she reported 22 one-on-one clients, three group coaching engagements, and delivered four presentations.

Andie has her sights set on other major goals, including completing her master’s of psychology in December 2022, writing books, and developing her own curriculum. In the longer term, she hopes to have a practice that includes several EQ coaches and the development of an EQ app.

The $500 grant has allowed her to earn more brand recognition by helping to fund the cost of marketing materials. She’s also been gifted the opportunity to have a booth and speak at a breakout session at Tapestry and the First Fridays Empower women’s conference.
