No woman should comprise on her wedding dress.

Kelitra Auxier noticed that plus-size women were not offered the same unique, beautiful dresses as an average woman.

The key for her business is to offer a variety of unique cuts and colors to all brides, from size 0 to 26w. Many Fort Wayne brides are unable to find nontraditional wedding dresses locally, especially plus-size brides.

Too often, plus-size brides have to compromise their dream dress because the gowns they’re in love with don’t come in plus sizes. She hopes to open a bridal shop that caters to every woman, offering wedding dresses of every size, color, and pattern so they can have the wedding of her dreams.

Kelitra plans to use her grant from the Fortitude Fund to help her build her inventory and invest in a marketing strategy.
