As Fort Wayne continues to grow, the demand for affordable housing has never been greater, especially for working class families. Justin Arnold saw this gap not as a problem, but as an opportunity to transform neighborhoods from the ground up.

With a background in development and a mission to increase accessibility in urban areas, Justin launched Riverfront Development, a company focused on revitalizing vacant infill lots across downtown Fort Wayne. In partnership with SEED and the City of Fort Wayne, his goal is to construct both single family and multi family homes that are affordable, livable, and built to strengthen the community.

What sets Justin apart is his long term vision: building to sell and building to rent, with a focus on low income and workforce housing that meets the real needs of the city, not just the market trends.

With support from the Fortitude Fund, Justin is investing in project management software, QuickBooks systems, and a website to showcase projects and attract redevelopment opportunities. These tools will allow him to scale his operations responsibly and efficiently as demand grows.

Justin hopes to become the City’s go-to development partner for reclaiming vacant land, and to help rewrite the housing story for hundreds of families in Fort Wayne.
