Joshua Edmiston launched Fort Wayne Carbon Fiber to create high performance parts for multiple industries, including automotive, aerospace, abrasives, and renewable energy. His biggest project to date: prototyping battery pack molds for Korean electric vehicle manufacturer BEI. If testing is successful, it could lead to producing 1,000 molds per month, transforming his startup overnight.
Joshua already works with clients like Sortera, Bennington Boats, and General Tool, delivering specialized carbon fiber solutions with precision and innovation.
With his Fortitude Fund grant, Joshua is covering production costs to keep the BEI project moving and prepare for the potential surge in demand.
