Jill Haskins

Jill Haskins, a licensed educator and former homeschool mother, never planned on becoming a founder. Her journey began when she couldn’t find an environment that met her son’s unique learning needs, so she decided to build one herself. Combining her academic expertise with the administrative skills she honed in the nonprofit sector, Jill transformed a soft launch of 11 students in her living room into a thriving, professional educational hub in Fort Wayne.

Kainos Microschool serves as a modern one-room schoolhouse for students in grades 1-12 who require an alternative to traditional classrooms. With a focus on individualized instruction, the school specifically supports students with special learning needs, including those with IEPs and those from diverse or adoptive backgrounds. Currently operating out of a commercial space with a growing team and a significant waiting list, Jill aims to expand to 40 students by late 2026, eventually adding early childhood programs and co-working spaces for parents.
