Frozen desserts with community in mind.
Delicious desserts in the Auburn area.
Bowls Frozen Desserts was a fan favorite in the Auburn community for their creamsicles and the positive togetherness they created at their storefront on Smatlz Way.
In 2018, they realized the demand for their desserts was high outside of their brick-and-mortar location – people wanted to enjoy the desserts on-the-go. Things like party rentals and a presence at community events became important.
Coltyn Miller, the founder of Bowls Frozen Desserts, applied for the Fortitude Fund with the goal of introducing a food truck to his business in an effort to be more community minded. The truck would be called “Wheelin for a Mission,” and it would partner with charities and nonprofit organizations in the area to help them fundraise through desserts and community.
Although Bowls Frozen Desserts went out of business in 2019, Coltyn is now involved in Hang10 Tropical Desserts in Auburn. The new dessert restaurant supports a similar mission of bringing people together in a safe space with delicious sweets.
